Osu Artory Kitchen, one of the few restaurants in Nagoya / Osu

Osu Artory Kitchen is a Japanese food / Obanzai shop located between Kamimaezu Station and Osu Kannon Station as you can see from Osu Shopping Street. You can catch a cup at the counter, or use it for a banquet at a table seat. We offer delicious Japanese creative dishes at an affordable price. Opening hours are from 19:00-2:00 the next day, and it is a popular shop that is open until late at night in Osu. Inside the store, there is a line-up of the famous specialties, Obanzai, every day. Among them, Kinuka next is a drink snack. It can be consumed with a bite by hand. The boiled chicken bran is soft and delicious when lightly salted.

Discerning ingredients and seasoning

Boiled a little larger Kyushu Miyazaki, taro, cut in half, and salted. Many ginseng soy sauce uses ginger soy sauce, but you can enjoy the natural taste of gummy sardines themselves, which can be eaten with salt in a simple recipe. Salt can be taken to the mouth without disturbing the taste by eating it with German alpine salz (rock salt). Even in Kyoto where there are many Obanzai shops, there are few shops that offer “Kinuka next”, so I think it is one of the leading “Kinuka next” stores in Nagoya.

Meal report

“Kinukajitsu”, which is hard to find even if you like it, can be enjoyed at the Artory Kitchen in Osu. This is a simple way to have a boiled soft rice cracker covered with rock salt. I like Japanese sake, so I ordered “Brewed People Kuheiji Junmai Daiginjo Yumachi” from the menu and waited for Kinuka next to come out. The kitchen has a good Japanese scent, so you can go hungry while waiting. At the same time as Mama said, "Yes! Wait for Kinuka!" The next one is a peeled and bite so you don't use chopsticks, pick it with your thumb and forefinger and peel it off with a bite. When you put it in your mouth, the scent of taro spreads all over your mouth, and the salty taste of rock salt sprinkled around it and the original umami taste synchronize to create the best harmony. Its simple, straight-ball taste makes me eat luxuriously, and then happiness is maximized by including sake in my mouth. Happiness that repeats it many times makes me feel immoral. I ordered 3 menus for 500 yen and ordered 3 times. Excellent for drinking. This is the best snack.
However, I went to the end of summer and had the opportunity to eat the next sushi from Miyazaki in Kyushu. Kyushu Miyazaki's best season is from spring to summer, but Osu Artory Kitchen always offers varieties of taro that can be used throughout the year. We are waiting for you to prepare seasonal taros throughout the year, so please enjoy eating and comparing “Kinukatsuji” for each season.
If you search for “Nagoya Kinukaji”, it will be difficult to find a store. Please drop in at “Osu Artory Kitchen”, a shop that handles “Kinukatsuji”, which is so rare. We look forward to your visit.
